Edelweiss Offers New Option for Indie Next List Nominations

Booksellers can now submit their nominations to the Indie Next List by entering reviews directly into Edelweiss. The process is simple and allows for maximum exposure of reviews.

Edelweiss Now Lets Users Share Reviews With Friends

This week, Edelweiss unveiled new functionality that allows registered users to connect with friends and colleagues who have an Edelweiss account in a peer-to-peer network within the site. Currently, the new functionality enables users to share reviews, but Edelweiss expects to add more features in the near future.

Random House Catalogs to Go Paperless

Random House Children’s and Random House Adult catalogs will be going digital only, beginning with their Summer 2012 and Fall 2012 lists, respectively. The change ensures the catalog information will be “more up-to-the-minute, and thus more viable, practical, and useful,” said Ruth Liebmann, vice president, director, account marketing, Random House, Inc.
