The American Booksellers Association's members have recently expressed renewed concerns about National Public Radio's continued use of Amazon.com as their sole retail partner for books mentioned on the air and posted on the NPR website. ABA has been in discussion with NPR for some time in an attempt to provide NPR listeners with the option of supporting their local independent bookstore. Last Chance to Order ABFFE's FREADOM Gift Card

The American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression has extended the deadline for ordering its new FREADOM Book Sense gift card to July 9.

"We must go on press with the cards on July 10 in order to send them to booksellers in time for Banned Books Week," said ABFFE President Chris Finan. Banned Books Week is September 29 - October 6.
