ABA Booksellers Lounge to Feature Author Reception

New this year, ABA will host the E.B. White Read-Aloud and Indies Choice Book Award Author Reception in the ABA Booksellers Lounge at the Javits Convention Center on Tuesday, June 5, immediately following the Celebration of Bookselling Luncheon at BEA.

Russia Under the Spotlight at Global Market Forum

Children’s Institute Registration Extended

ABA has extended registration for the Children’s Institute at BookExpo America until May 11. An additional but limited number of spaces at the June 6 day-long event are now open exclusively to booksellers at ABA member stores; they are expected to sell out quickly.

Provisional booksellers and employees of regular member stores can still register for ABA’s free, full-day seminar “How to Succeed at Retail Bookselling: Introduction to the Bookstore Business,” to be held on Sunday, June 3 — the day before ABA’s Day of Education and the opening of BookExpo America.
