Here are the 31 titles on the May/June 2021 Kids' Indie Next List.

The final topic for the series is diverse worldbuilding in short stories with Zoraida Córdova on April 28.

Remaining topics for the series include identity in the future with Samira Ahmed on April 21 and diverse worldbuilding in short stories with Zoraida Córdova on April 28.

“This debut grabbed me from the start and kept me totally immersed in the story of a strong, self-described nerdy young female struggling with the normal problems of belonging, with the added element of being half Native American,” said Carol Putnam of Skylark Bookshop.

The series kicked off today, April 7, and continues every Wednesday throughout the rest of the month. Booksellers are invited to have their customers join now.

Topics for the series include magic and queering fantasy worlds; magic, speculative, and real-life issues; identity in the future; and diverse worldbuilding in short stories.

Victoria Schwab, Tochi Onyebuchi, Samira Ahmed, and Zoraida Córdova will be in conversation with Dhonielle Clayton on a variety of topics. 

The four-part series will take place every Wednesday in April. Booksellers can start promoting the event to their customers now.
