The winners of the 2015 WNBA Pannell Award will be chosen by the Pannell Awards jury from 18 nominees in the general bookstore category and eight in the children’s category.

Booksellers who want to attend the 2015 ABC Children’s Institute are encouraged to register as soon as possible as space is limited. The event, to be held April 19 – 21 at California’s Hilton Pasadena, is open to all ABA bookseller members.

Tony Award-winner Nathan Lane will be the Master of Ceremonies at the 2015 BookExpo America Children’s Breakfast on Friday, May 29. Lane will be joined on the panel by illustrator Oliver Jeffers and authors Rainbow Rowell and James Patterson.

Children’s booksellers have several special educational events in store for them at next week’s Winter Institute, including four sessions presented by the ABC Children’s Group at ABA and opportunities to learn about new books and authors from the children’s, middle grade, and young adult scenes.
