Presentation on Affordable Care Act Now on BookWeb

As the Health Insurance Marketplaces opened for business this week, ABA made available on BookWeb the PowerPoint presentation “The Affordable Care Act: What the Healthcare Law Means for Your Small Business,” an overview that is being presented at ABA’s education session at each of the fall regional trade shows.

PNBA, NEIBA & MPIBA to Close the Trade Show Season

ABA and the Small Business Majority will present “Health Care Reform and the Bookstore: How It Affects You Now” at the last three trade shows of the fall season: PNBA and NEIBA, both October 6 – 8, and MPIBA, October 10 – 12.

ABA Launches Health Care Reform Webpage

ABA has launched a new BookWeb advocacy page focusing on the Affordable Care Act. The page offers state-specific fact sheets that provide key health care reform information and that point booksellers in the right direction if they have further questions or wish to enroll in their state’s exchange.

Last Call for IndieCommerce Institute, San Francisco

Registration for ABA’s IndieCommerce Institute to be held on Wednesday, October 2,  in San Francisco in conjunction with the NCIBA trade show, closes next Tuesday, September 24.

ABA Heads to NCIBA and Heartland Shows First Week of October

On October 3, the NCIBA trade show and the Heartland Fall Forum begin, and ABA will be at each to present an education session on the Affordable Care Act and to meet with booksellers on the trade show floor.

ABA Heads to SCIBA and NAIBA Shows at End of September

This month closes with the SCIBA and NAIBA trade shows, where ABA and the Small Business Majority will present the education session “Health Care Reform and the Bookstore: How It Affects You Now.” This session will provide booksellers with detailed and actionable information about the Affordable Care Act, specifically tailored to states in the region.

Last Call for IndieCommerce Institute, New Orleans

Today, Thursday, September 12, is the final day for booksellers to register for the September 19 IndieCommerce Institute to be held at the Sheraton New Orleans in conjunction with the SIBA  trade show.
