City Lit Books, located in the Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago, is seeking a full-time Bookstore Manager. City Lit has just completed an amazing first year and we are looking to continue growing and evolving.

Qualified candidates believe that independent bookstores can change the world and that we will have fun doing it.  Other requirements include:

• Currently an independent bookstore manager or has significant bookseller experience in an independent bookstore

• Experience with Booklog software

• Flexible scheduling capabilities

• Experience managing and developing people

Preferences include:

• Wide-ranging reading interests

• Social media presence

• Interest in building and developing a new business
