IndieBound Logos
This logo art is for the use of ABA affiliates, associates, and members to meet web, print, and media needs that require art suitable for reproduction purposes.
The IndieBound logo is simple – as it is not meant to overpower the identities of the various stores in the community, but to be a reminder of their common desire to read freely, shop freely, live freely. At its core, the ‘i’ rings of independence – in particular the fiercely independent spirit of people who run, support and believe in independent businesses. The scribbles surrounding the ‘i’ incorporate energy, passion and individuality that propel the adventuresome indies in each community. And look closely. Are the scribbles forming the open pages of a book, bound together to display the possibilities of the story inside? Are they forming wings, elevating the community that elevates independence? The scribble, and even the ‘i’ itself can mean a lot of things, but one thing’s for sure… like the independents we strive to represent, no scribble is ever quite the same.
