Periodically, the American Booksellers Association creates a Governance Review Committee (GRC), which is responsible for reviewing the overall governance practices of ABA to determine whether they are in accordance with established policies and procedures. The committee this year is composed of Tom Campbell of The Regulator Bookshop in Durham, North Carolina; Bradley Graham of Politics and Prose in Washington, D.C.; and Amy Thomas of Pegasus Books in Berkeley, California.

The first step in the review process is for the committee to gather input from ABA member bookstores. This week, the Governance Review Committee issues the following call to members:

Please take around five minutes to fill out this short survey to provide us with your thoughts on ABA’s focus on strategy, transparency, decision-making environment, and diversity.

“The deadline for your input is the end of Wednesday, June 8. Thank you for your time!”
