ABC Best Books Catalog on Its Way

The 2013 ABC Best Books for Children Catalog has started arriving at ABA member stores.

Imprinted catalogs and other special orders are shipping now, and automatic shipments of 250 catalogs without imprinting should start arriving at ABC Children’s Group member stores around October 15.

All other ABA member stores are being sent 20 free catalogs with no imprinting in the October Red Box.

The ABC Best Books Catalog carries no fourth quarter branding so booksellers can use it throughout the year in a variety of creative ways.

This year’s front cover, which was selected by the ABC Advisory Council, features an illustration from Tracey Campbell Pearson’s Elephant’s Story, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux Books for Young Readers, a division of Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group. The back cover includes a half-page of white space, where booksellers who haven’t already imprinted their catalogs can add their store name, address, telephone number, e-mail and web addresses, logo, and more. 

The ABC Best Books for Children Catalog is also available in PDF format for use on store websites and in newsletters. Additionally, an updated list of the 2013 catalog offerings in Excel spreadsheet format is available to stores upon request.  An electronic version of the catalog for IndieCommerce websites is forthcoming.
