The ABC Children’s Group at ABA has launched a colorful new resource for those invested in children’s bookselling. The ABC One-Two-Three newsletter, which ABC Group members will receive every other month via e-mail, delivers important news and updates highlighting what’s new at the ABC Group, at stores, and in children’s bookselling.

September’s edition, which was delivered to ABC Group members’ inboxes on Wednesday, September 24, offers updates about upcoming children’s-interest educational sessions at the Winter Institute in February 2015, the registration timeline for April’s Children’s Institute, booksellers hitting TV and radio airwaves, and news from the We Need Diverse Books campaign and Banned Books Week.

Bookstores interested in growing their reach with children in their communities are encouraged to sign up for membership with the ABC Children’s Group.

Benefits include an exclusive option to attend the Children’s Institute, free ABC Best Books for Children catalogs, complimentary admission to the annual Children’s Book Art Silent Auction each year at BookExpo America, and a free “Snack Nap Read” poster upon joining, plus a subscription to the new ABC One-Two-Three e-newsletter. See the full list of ABC member benefits here.

Annual dues for ABC Group members are $50 in addition to ABA dues.
