Announcing the Winter 2003/2004 Children's Book Sense 76

The full Winter 2003/2004 Children's Book Sense 76, with bookseller quotes, is now online at http://news.bookweb.org/read/1983. Stores should begin receiving copies of the list during the last week of November.

This is a wide-ranging and rich list for, we hope, a lively and profitable holiday season. As always, the success of the Children's Book Sense 76 rests on the passion, experience, and insightful collaboration of booksellers nationwide, both children's specialty stores and general independents, and Book Sense 76 Editor-in-Chief Dan Cullen sends a special thanks this time for the contributions of booksellers from the New England Children's Bookselling Advisory Council.

Cullen noted to BTW that he's hopeful booksellers will send in photos of Book Sense 76 displays -- both for kids and adult titles -- reminding booksellers of the success independent booksellers with Book Sense have had with 76 displays. The photos will be part of future BTW coverage and, also, are a part of ongoing meetings with publishers.
