April 30 Deadline for Board Ballots

Ballots to elect three directors to serve three-year terms on the American Booksellers Association’s Board of Directors must be cast by midnight EDT on April 30, 2014, in order to be counted. A link to the ballot was sent to all main store members in an e-mail from ABA CEO Oren Teicher on Monday, March 31.

The election results will be announced at the beginning of May, and the new Board members will be welcomed at the ABA Annual Membership Meeting to be held on Thursday, May 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in conjunction with BookExpo America, at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. The Membership Meeting will be preceded by ABA’s Town Hall meeting from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
