Cover of June Indie Next List flierThe winner of the Indie Next List Great Reads giveaway for June is Laura Murray of Sunriver, Oregon, who picked up her Indie Next List flier and entry coupon at The Bookworks in Pacific Grove, California.

Murray, who has won the 20 frontlist titles from the June Indie Next List, said she can’t wait for the books to arrive. She regularly picks up the Indie Next List flier and enjoys perusing the titles from the list to inspire her next book purchases, she noted.

“We are lucky to live in Sunriver, which has a wonderful independent bookstore: Sunriver Books & Music,” said Murray. “Also luckily, we spend a lot of time in Pacific Grove, home to another great independent bookstore: Bookworks. Combined with a lovely coffee shop, what more could anyone want?”

As part of the Indie Next List Years of Discovery Campaign, which launched in May, the Indie Next List Great Reads giveaway continues with the July and August Indie Next Lists. Customers at all ABA member stores can fill out a coupon on the July or August fliers to enter a sweepstakes to win all 20 of the month’s Indie Next List Great Reads. Coupon entries for the July Indie Next List must be sent to ABA by legal residents of the U.S. over the age of 13 by August 15, 2016. The July winner will be chosen at random and notified within 60 days. Complete sweepstakes rules are available here.

For bookstores taking part in the Indie Next List Years of Discovery Campaign, there are just a few days left to share a July Indie Next List display by posting a photo to social media (using the hashtag #INLJuly) or featuring the display in a store e-newsletter (forwarded to ABA Social Media Manager Catherine Cusick).

All stores that mount and share photos of their June, July, August, and September Indie Next List displays will automatically be entitled to bring an additional bookseller to Winter Institute 2017. From those stores, 10 will be chosen to win a complimentary registration fee (approximately a $99 value) to Winter Institute 2017. Eligibility and entry requirements for the bookstore display contest are available here.

Booksellers with questions about the display contest and social media entries should contact Catherine Cusick. Questions about the INL Years of Discovery Campaign should be addressed to Senior Program Officer Joy Dallanegra-Sanger or Development Officer Mark Nichols.
