A Great Big Thank You

The American Booksellers Association extends sincere thanks to all of its Winter Institute Partners whose support made last weekend's event such a success.

"We are very happy to have heard from so many attendees that the Third Annual Winter Institute offered valued education, lots of networking opportunities, and a wealth of authors and titles. But none of this would have been possible without the very generous support we received from our Event Partners -- Baker & Taylor, BookExpo America, and Ingram Book Company/Ingram Publisher Services. Once again, they have demonstrated just how highly they value independent booksellers," said ABA CEO Avin Mark Domnitz.

"Louisville became a four-star literary destination, with 38 authors at the very successful Author Reception, 12 Rep Picks sessions showcasing notable new titles, and a great range of fiction and nonfiction in the Galley Room," said ABA Senior Director of Publisher Initiatives Mark Nichols. "In addition, 26 booksellers were able to attend the Winter Institute, thanks to scholarships awarded by our Publisher Partners. We are extremely grateful for our Publisher Partners' continuing support, as well as for the products and services provided by our Supporting Partners.
