Hotel ABA to Host Two Parties for Indie Booksellers

All ABA member booksellers at BookExpo America are invited to two parties at this year’s Hotel ABA, the Grand Hyatt New York. The events, open to ABA hotel guests and non-guests alike, are opportunities to mingle with authors, catch up with old friends, and share in late-night cheer.

Random House Publishing Group will host a Welcome Party on Tuesday, May 28, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., in the Grand Hyatt’s Gallery on Lex.

And on Wednesday, May 29, indie presses — Beacon Press, Black Dog & Leventhal, Blue Apple Books, Lonely Planet, Milkweed Editions, Other Press, and Quirk Books — will celebrate indie booksellers from 9:00 p.m. to midnight, also in Gallery on Lex.

Both parties are open exclusively to ABA members.
