On June 7, author James Patterson published the first titles in his new BookShots program, which offers thrillers and romances that are under 150 pages and priced at $5 or less. A new imprint of Little, Brown, the BookShots program will debut two to four titles per month.

Readers can now access Patterson’s BookShots through Kobo, which has created a page dedicated to promoting titles in the program here.

The first two titles in the BookShots summer collection, Cross Kill, starring Patterson’s popular recurring character Alex Cross, and Zoo 2, the second installment in his Zoo series, sold close to a combined 30,000 titles in their first week and made the Paperback Fiction Extended Indie Bestseller List.

Additional titles publishing this year through BookShots will be novella-length romance titles from BookShots Flames and nonfiction titles, starting with Trump vs. Clinton: In Their Own Words, publishing September 27. Patterson is writing, collaborating on, or personally curating every title in the BookShots program.

Booksellers can find online banners and social media images in the Kobo DIY on BookWeb to help advertise the availability of BookShots titles through Kobo.
