A Gift Card Survey From Kobo

Kobo is currently exploring whether to offer American Booksellers Association members the ability to sell Kobo gift cards in their stores for redemption online. To assess interest and determine whether to move forward on the gift cards, Kobo created a brief survey that was sent to program participants last week. The deadline for completing the survey, which is also available here, is February 23, 2016.

Kobo’s goal is to launch a gift card program in summer 2016. As a thank you, all survey participants will be entered to win a Kobo Glo HD, plus $30 in Kobo gift cards, courtesy of Kobo; Kobo will notify the winning store via e-mail. Questions about the survey should be addressed to Kobo Retail Marketing Manager Natalie Jefferson.

Revenue Share Reports

Kobo revenue share reports for October 2015 and November 2015 have been completed. Stores will see the report on the Kobo Reporting Tool. Funds should show in store bank accounts shortly.

Deadline for Valentine’s Day Promo Reporting

March 1 is the deadline for bookstores that took advantage of Kobo’s Valentine’s Day special to report sales via the Kobo Reporting Tool. The special offered $20 off the $109.99 price of the Kobo Glo HD eReader through February 14.
