Make Time to Talk About Advocacy

Booksellers who will be attending BookExpo America are invited to set up an appointment to discuss advocacy issues with David Grogan, senior public policy analyst for the American Booksellers Association.

“This will be a great chance to sit down and discuss advocacy issues that are important to your business, whether it’s access to capital, health care reform, or sales tax fairness,” said Grogan.

Grogan is available to meet on the following days in the ABA Indie Bookseller Lounge at (Meeting Room 214 at the front of the “200” aisle on the trade show floor):

  • Wednesday, May 28, between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 29, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • Friday, May 30, between noon and 4:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 31, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

To schedule an appointment, booksellers should e-mail Grogan no later than noon on Tuesday, May 27, and indicate their preferences for meeting day and time.
