Monday Deadline for Thanks for Shopping Indie

The sign-up deadline for stores that are new to the Thanks for Shopping Indie promotion is Monday, October 14.

Now in its second year, the promotion, which launches on Small Business Saturday, offers more than 80 of ABA members’ favorite titles, each with its own built-in holiday present to share with customers.

Thanks for Shopping Indie titles include adult fiction and nonfiction, hardcover and paperback, and a broad selection of children’s books, all appearing on either an Indie Next List or Indie Bestseller List during 2013.

To participate, bookstores must mount a Thanks for Shopping Indie display from November 30 until December 7 or later. Register now and choose your Thanks for Shopping Indie titles.

Bookstores that participated in Thanks for Shopping Indie 2012 have been automatically enrolled in this year’s program; they can opt out by e-mailing Senior Program Officer Joy Dallanegra-Sanger with the subject “TfSI opt-out.”
