New “ABA Learning on Demand” Page Features Webinars and Training Videos

The American Booksellers Association’s new “ABA Learning on Demand” page on BookWeb.org features members-only webinar videos covering topics including basic sales techniques, creating a press kit, and IndieCommerce and IndieLite. In the upcoming weeks, ABA will also add educational podcasts recorded in April at the 2017 Children’s Institute in Portland, Oregon.

This webinar is based on an education session presented at Winter Institute 12 by booksellers Gillian Kohli of Wellesley Books in Wellesley, Massachusetts; Daniel Goldin of Boswell Book Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Linda-Marie Barrett of the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance and formerly of Malaprop’s Bookstore/Café in Asheville, North Carolina.

Webinar – Take Your Show on The Road: Managing Large-Scale Events (July 11, 2017)

This webinar is based on an education session presented at Winter Institute 12 by booksellers Jessica Stockton Bagnulo of Greenlight Bookstore in Brooklyn, New York; Lynn Pellerito Riehl of Nicola’s Books in Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Robert McDonald of The Book Stall in Winnetka, Illinois.
