IndieBound.org's homepage sports a fresh look, including new features and opportunities for fans and indie booksellers alike to get more involved.

Among the new additions, Outreach Liaison Paige Poe will be blogging with news and stories about indie retailers across the U.S. All blog entries and articles will be captured in a permanent archive, so they'll always be available.

IndieBound.org is also accepting comments on each story, so everyone can join in the conversation. All that's required is a user account. (If you haven't already set one up, it's easy to do .) Anyone with observations, stories, or great ideas that they'd like to share with the IndieBound Community is encouraged to send them to [email protected]. Both story suggestions and complete articles are welcome.

"If it's important to indie businesses, IndieBound.org wants to know about it," explained Web Content Coordinator Matt Supko."

Since its launch, IndieBound.org has made it easy for authors, bloggers, and others to link to specific books or indie bookstores on their sites, and those who sign up for IndieBound's affiliate program will receive a commission on any sales they refer.

BookWeb offers a tutorial to help ABA members who have yet to join the IndieBound Community get started. In addition, questions about anything relating to IndieBound can always be directed to Poe at [email protected] or (800) 637-0037, ext. 6668.
