Through July 31, Publishers Weekly, in association with the Frankfurt Book Fair, is accepting nominations for PW Star Watch, a program designed to recognize exceptional emerging talent in the U.S. book trade.

Nominated candidates — up-and-coming professionals who have the potential to be the industry’s next great leaders based on their creativity, ability, and passion — may come from any segment of the business, including publishing, bookselling, and libraries.

Twenty-five honorees will be featured in the September 14 issue of Publishers Weekly, which will also announce the top five finalists. The honorees will be celebrated at a September 17 reception in New York City, where the PW Star Watch winner will be revealed.

The PW Star Watch winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany, October 14–18, 2015, including an all-access pass to the fair and the Business Club as well as exclusive networking opportunities. All PW Star Watch finalists will be invited to attend an evening of celebration during the fair.

Nominations can be made by anyone in the industry, and professionals are welcome to nominate themselves. There is no age cap or professional discipline restriction for nominees, but nominees must be based in the U.S.

The judging panel will be composed of members of Publishers Weekly and the Frankfurt Book Fair, plus other industry leaders.

PW Star Watch nominations can be submitted at publishersweekly.com through July 31.
