Show Your Creativity: The Children’s Book Week Display Contest

Indie booksellers who put their creative talents to work on in-store displays for the May 12 – 18 celebration of Children’s Book Week are invited to enter a display contest sponsored by the Children’s Book Council (CBC) and Every Child a Reader in partnership with the ABC Children’s Group at ABA.

To enter, stores must create displays that are up for the duration of Children’s Book Week. Displays will be judged for creativity, uniqueness, and how well they present the Children’s Book Week theme, among other criteria. Bonus points will be awarded for incorporating the 2014 Children’s and Teen Choice Book Awards finalists and the 2014 CBW poster and the titles Robin Preiss Glasser pays homage to on it.

Contest prizes include a visit from a 2014 Children’s Choice Book Award-winning author or illustrator (based on availability, subject to change). Full details about the contest are available on the CBW webpage for booksellers.
