Used bookstores can join the American Booksellers Association for just $100 between August 1 and September 30, 2014 — half of the regular rate for used bookstores.

Used bookstores joining before September 30 will be eligible for a discounted membership term that extends until January 31, 2016, after which it will be converted to the regular used bookstore membership rate of $200 per year. Used books must equal 75 percent or more of book inventory in order for stores to qualify as used bookstores, and this offer applies only to stores that have not been ABA members within the past two years.
