Indie booksellers can livesteam Detroit Public TV’s coverage of author events from the 15th annual Library of Congress National Book Festival this Saturday, September 5, from noon until 6:00 p.m. EDT, with a simple-to-embed video player available here.

The webcast schedule and a list of the titles to be discussed are available on BookViewNow.org. To help IndieCommerce stores that would like to feature the coverage and promote the books discussed, the list of titles and ISBNs is available in the IndieCommerce Help Center.

Independent booksellers will be represented at this year’s event at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., by Politics & Prose, which has been chosen as the festival’s official bookseller for the second consecutive year.

P&P bookstore staff and volunteers will be setting up and manning a sales area in the convention center, where festival-goers will be able to buy titles from all 150 authors appearing at the event; they can then have their purchases autographed in the nearby signing area.

The names of all American Booksellers Association member bookstores and their respective cities and states will be featured on a special wallpaper, created by ABA, to decorate the 80' x 200' book sales area. Here is a sample of the wallpaper:
