Wi10 Update: Attendee List Available, Transportation and Change-of-Plans Reminders

Before the holiday rush reaches fever pitch, the American Booksellers Association is urging Winter Institute 10 registrants to make their travel arrangements or to let ABA know if they are no longer planning to attend. Traveling to Asheville may be a bit more challenging than to previous institute host cities, but there are alternatives that work. Check the list of alternative airports and the ABA car sharing forum for options.

Registered booksellers who are no longer planning to attend Wi10 are asked to let ABA staff know as soon as possible; many booksellers are still waitlisted. The earlier ABA is notified, the better the chance other booksellers will be able to attend. ABA has revised its refund policy and will issue refunds for cancellations received by December 31, 2014.

To cancel, booksellers should send an e-mail to [email protected], indicating whether they have a reservation at the Grove Park Inn or a space on the hotel waitlist that will no longer be needed. Booksellers are asked to contact ABA rather than the hotel to ensure that their reservations go to waiting booksellers.

ABA members who will be attending Wi10 can now access a sortable, printable list of Wi2015 attendees to see who will be joining them in Asheville, North Carolina, from February 8 to 11. (A BookWeb username and password are required.)
