Wi3 Welcomes Children's Publisher-Sponsors

The American Booksellers Association has welcomed Hyperion Books for Children/Disney Press as its final Publisher Partner for the Third Annual Winter Institute (Wi3), to be held in Louisville, Kentucky, from January 24 - 27, 2008.

Hyperion Books for Children/Disney Press joins three other children's publishers -- Chooseco, Scholastic, Inc., and Penguin Books for Young Readers -- among the Winter Institute's 24 Publisher Partners.

Wi3's Publisher Partners are providing scholarships to help ABA member booksellers attend this year's event, and most will be bringing galleys of upcoming titles and authors to be featured at special events.

"ABA is very grateful for the support of all of the Winter Institute Event and Publisher Partners," said Book Sense Marketing Director Mark Nichols. "Their sponsorship will enable us to create another outstanding educational program, with special events focusing on an array of titles and authors that offer something for everybody."

Returning as Winter Institute Event Partners this year are Baker & Taylor, BookExpo America, and Ingram Book Company/Ingram Publisher Services.
