Winter Institute 2016 to Feature Post-Event Ski Trip

Winter Institute 11 (Wi11) is set to take place in the heart of downtown Denver, Colorado, from Saturday evening, January 23, through Tuesday, January 26, 2016. And though it’s months away, here is something for booksellers to keep in mind as they formulate their travel to Denver.

The American Booksellers Association is planning a post-Winter Institute ski trip for January 27 to the Copper Mountain resort, located 75 miles outside of the city. Reservations for the ski trip, which are open to booksellers and their families, will begin with registration for Winter Institute 11, on September 9. The cost of the ski trip will be $130 per person and will include a lift ticket and round-trip bus transportation.

The trip is a great opportunity to experience the deep powder and blue skies of the Rockies while taking advantage of the special ABA member rate at Wi11’s host hotel, the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel , which is in effect until January 29.
