Winter Institute Refund Deadline December 31

In response to the long waitlist for Winter Institute 10, the American Booksellers Association will refund the conference fee for booksellers who cancel their registrations by December 31, 2014; however, booksellers are asked to let ABA staff know about any changes to their plans as soon as possible to give waiting booksellers a better chance of attending.

To cancel Wi10 registrations, booksellers should send an e-mail to [email protected]. The e-mail should also indicate whether booksellers have a reservation at the Grove Park Inn or a space on the hotel waitlist that is no longer needed. Booksellers are asked to contact ABA rather than the Grove Park Inn up until January 30 to ensure that their reservations go to waiting booksellers. ABA will change the name on the reservation and arrange to refund the deposit. After January 30, booksellers should cancel directly with the Grove Park Inn.

The Wi10 overflow hotel is the Renaissance Asheville Hotel at 31 Woodfin Street. The rate is $129 plus tax per night and includes daily shuttle bus service to the Grove Park Inn provided by ABA.
