Years of Discovery Campaign Gives Customers Chance to Win Indie Next List Titles

To celebrate a decade and a half of passionate handselling by ABA member bookstores, the Indie Next List Years of Discovery Campaign is giving customers the chance to win all 20 of the Indie Next List Great Reads on the June, July, or August fliers.

To enter the sweepstakes, customers at ABA member stores can fill out the coupon featured on each month’s Indie Next List flier and send it to the American Booksellers Association. Coupons from the June Indie Next List will be accepted from customers over the age of 13  from May 15 through July 15, 2016. The June winner will be chosen at random and notified on or around August 1, 2016. The odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The approximate retail value of the June INL prize is $550. Complete sweepstakes rules are available here.

The Years of Discovery Campaign also offers incentives for ABA member booksellers: Stores that create an INL display each month for June, July, August, and September and post a photo of each display to social media with the appropriate hashtag or feature the display in an e-newsletter will automatically be entitled to bring an additional bookseller to Winter Institute 2017 in Minneapolis. From those stores, 10 will be chosen to win a complimentary registration fee (approximately a $99 value) to Winter Institute 2017. To participate, stores must share an initial Indie Next List display photo along with the hashtag #INLJune on social media or feature the photo in an e-newsletter by June 30.
