Opening Your Own Authorize.net Account

  • Create a Login ID.
  • Complete the Application.
  • Review the Fees.
  • Review the Application.

3. Going live with your new account: Ready to switch from ABA's shared Authorize.net account to your own

  • Authorize.net has been setup.
  • Do a test transaction with Authorize.net to make sure your account is functioning properly.
  • Contact ABA to schedule a day to make the switch.
  • All pending credit card orders must be completed or canceled.
  • → disable wholesaler fulfillment
  • → disable credit card payment method
  • When all credit card orders have been taken care of, ABA will change your payment gateway module to reflect your  gateway account.
  • Provide ABA with 'API Login' and 'Transaction Key'.
  • → enable wholesaler fulfillment
  • → enable credit card payment method

4. Testing Your Own Authorize.net Account

  • Place a real credit card order.
  • Verify that funds are being transferred to your bank account.
