ABA invites booksellers to participate in POS User Group Roundtables at BookExpo 2018 [5], where current users of IBID, Basil, Wordstock, and Booklog can ask questions and gain insight into maximizing the use of their current POS system.

The 50-minute walk-in sessions will feature group discussions between product users and representatives from the four POS companies; it is not for booksellers who are currently shopping around for a new POS brand.

No sign-up is necessary; just bring your questions. The two days of roundtables at BookExpo will be located in The Vital Bookstore [6], a collaborative learning exhibit featuring education sessions and four life-size walk-through vignettes representing different aspects of a bookstore. 

The first roundtable [7] takes place on Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 10:10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Walk-in session times are as follows: for IBID, Inc: 10:10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.; for Basil Bookseller Software: 12:25 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.

The second roundtable [8] takes place on Friday, June 1, 2018, from 1:10 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Walk-in session times are as follows: for WorkStock POS and Inventory Control: 1:10 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.; for BookLog, Inc: 2:10 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

BookExpo takes place May 30–June 1 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Booksellers can register for free badges to BookExpo [9] by providing their ABA member ID number during the registration process.
