[5]The sign-up deadline for stores that are new to the Thanks for Shopping Indie [5]promotion is Monday, October 14.

Now in its second year, the promotion, which launches on Small Business Saturday [6], offers more than 80 of ABA members’ favorite titles, each with its own built-in holiday present to share with customers.

Thanks for Shopping Indie titles include adult fiction and nonfiction, hardcover and paperback, and a broad selection of children’s books, all appearing on either an Indie Next List or Indie Bestseller List during 2013.

To participate, bookstores must mount a Thanks for Shopping Indie display from November 30 until December 7 or later. Register now and choose your Thanks for Shopping Indie titles [5].

Bookstores that participated in Thanks for Shopping Indie 2012 have been automatically enrolled in this year’s program; they can opt out by e-mailing Senior Program Officer Joy Dallanegra-Sanger [7] with the subject “TfSI opt-out.”
