The deadline for members of the ABC Children’s Group at ABA to register [2]for the ABC/CBC Speed Dating Lunch With Children’s Authors and/or the ABC/CBC Tea With Children’s Authors and Illustrators has been extended to this Friday, May 17. Both events will be held on Friday, May 31, at BookExpo America [3].

The ABC/CBC Speed Dating Lunch With Children’s Authors will be from 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. The lunch will feature more than a dozen children’s book authors offering insights on their new projects. The fee is $25 per person.

ABC/CBC Tea With Children’s Authors and Illustrators, also on Friday, May 31, will run from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. The fee for this intimate and relaxing teatime with a beloved author or illustrator is $20 per person.
