[6]For the sixth consecutive season, publishers are offering specials on 10 adult titles and 10 children’s titles [6] chosen by panels of booksellers from across the U.S. as the top upcoming debuts. The crop of Summer/Fall 2015 Indies Introduce titles include adult fiction, middle grade, and YA publishing between June and October 2015.

“It’s such an honor to single out debuts,” said Amanda Hurley of Inkwood Books in Tampa, Florida, who served on the Indies Introduce Adult panel. “Independent bookstores have always been the champions of debut writers, putting them into the hands of readers who never would have picked out their books from the stacks, and so it seems so fitting that this panel exists to continue on in this great work. It feels like we really looked forward into the future of bookselling!”

Linden Tree Books’ Drew Durham, a member of the Middle Grade/Young Adult panel, agreed. “New voices deserve to be heard! Debut authors need to be read!” he said. “I learned that we all need to read outside our comfort zones because you never know what you could be missing!”

For stores that have taken part in past Indies Introduce promotions, there’s no need to sign up to take advantage of publishers’ Summer/Fall offers; however, stores that are new to Indies Introduce must complete the Indies Introduce sign-up form [7] by June 4 to take part in the program.
