ABA will present the education session “Understanding and Acting on Your ABACUS-15 Report” and IndieCommerce one-on-one meetings at the upcoming Pacific Northwest and Heartland trade shows.

ABA’s Principles of Bookstore Finance Workshops, to be held just prior to the NAIBA and NCIBA trade shows, will help booksellers understand the five components of financial management and how to apply these theories to real bookstore situations.

At the first two shows of the fall season, SIBA and NEIBA, booksellers are invited to stop by the ABA booth to learn about upcoming initiatives, to attend an ABA education session, and to meet one-on-one with an IndieCommerce representative.

IndieCommerce users and non-users alike will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with an IndieCommerce staff member at this fall’s regional trade shows.

ABA is offering the full-day workshop “Principles of Bookstore Finance” on Saturday, October 15, in Baltimore and on Wednesday, October 26, in San Francisco, prior to the New Atlantic and Northern California independent booksellers association trade shows, respectively.

Caroline Stephenson is opening Cultivator Bookstore to “cultivate” community, foster literacy, and improve the quality of life for families living in the rural, high-poverty community of Murfreesboro.

ABA will be presenting a full-day workshop on the principles of finance, led by Robert Sindelar, managing partner of Third Place Books, and Robyn DesHotel, ABA's chief financial officer, just prior to the NAIBA and NCIBA fall trade shows.
