Booksellers can apply for a Children's Institute scholarship by completing the form below. Scholarships are open to booksellers from ABA member stores that did not have a Children's Institute scholarship winner in 2017 or 2018. Deadline is Tuesday, December 4, 2019, at 5:00 pm EST. (This form may be submitted once per person.)
 
ABA is committed to awarding a number of scholarships to booksellers from diverse backgrounds. We aim to make Children's Institute as welcoming and inclusive as possible. To assist scholarship discussions, we invite you to describe what makes you diverse, whether in terms of race, class, gender, sexual identity, physical ability, cultural background, or something else.

By pressing “submit” you acknowledge that recipients are required to meet with their publisher sponsors at a designated Children's Institute reception. A submission demonstrates interest in receiving a scholarship, but it does not guarantee selection. Winners will be announced in April, 2018. You will be contacted directly if you have been selected for a scholarship.
