Banned Books: Turning Challenging Conversations into Community Frank Lloyd Wright Salon J

Every day we’re hearing about book challenges in schools and libraries. There is so much to discuss, so this is a discussion-based session without prescriptive answers. With the assistance of a moderator, booksellers can share their experiences and listen to others as attendees discuss curating a book space that is right for their store and community and how to lead conversation in communities when the store’s curation is questioned.

Panelists: Lexi Beach, Astoria Bookshop (Queens, NY); Diane Capriola, Little Shop of Stories (Decatur, GA); Mack Burner, Bookworm of Edwards (Edwards, CO); Casey Morissey, Greenlight Bookstore (Brooklyn, NY)
