Fall Webinars, New Feature, Plus |
September 23, 2015 Dear IndieCommerce participant, Talk to Us Last week in this newsletter we announced signup for the first in our series of Fall training webinars. To insure lots of interaction between IndieCommerce staff and booksellers we are limiting the webinars to 20 people per, and the first webinar filled up in no time. Webinars are scheduled to take place on Oct. 7, Oct. 21, Nov. 4 and Nov. 18, from 2-3 pm EST. Mark your calendars: Signup for the next webinar (Oct. 7) will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Each session will last for 60 minutes, and will be conducted via GoToMeeting. IndieCommerce staff will be available to discuss any topic of your choosing, whether or not in the training materials. We also hope to spend a concentrated time on a single topic, such as a new feature. Please also visit the Video Training Center on BookWeb.org to see our new videos: Creating a Block, Adding Content, Theme Key, and Uploading Images. Fraudulent Orders on the Rise
We usually see an increase of fraudulent orders in the months of September and February, which are mainly for expensive text books. This year we are seeing a rise in fraudulent orders for less expensive books as well. For advice on dealing with fraudulent orders, and tips on spotting them, please visit http://www.bookweb.org/Thank you for reading! See you online.
