Just Announced! Google Analytics Webinar

Are you excited by the possibilities of Google Analytics (GA), but intimidated by its graphs and charts? Then save the date: On April 7, the weekly IndieCommerce webinar, hosted by our very own Matt Supko, will consist of a detailed tour of GA, including how to identify where traffic is coming from; which pages on your site are most popular; and what kind of devices your customers are using to view your website. Additionally, the webinar will cover how to investigate which traffic sources are delivering sales and which aren’t. Valuable insights are only a few clicks away.

Please sign up today for the Google Analytics Webinar. Space is limited.

There will be no open session this week (3/28) or next week (4/4) due to the Google Analytics webinars.

IndieCommerce Institute Advanced Session Filling Up

There are still openings available for the 2016 IndieCommerce Institute advanced seminar at the Drake Hotel in Chicago on May 10th. The advanced seminar offers an informal setting allowing participants to learn directly from each other as they provide critiques of each other’s sites. Seminar attendees will be required to spend a significant amount of time reviewing their peer’s websites, and writing critiques, before the day of the ICI.

New Features Go Live

There two new features this week for IndieCommerce sites:

  • "Alt Tags" have been added to all book cover images from Ingram. The tags will help your web site comply with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. These tags may also have the added benefit of pushing your store listing up in search Google Images search results.
  • Making it easier to post book cover photos on Facebook, add the URL for any book "product page" and the cover image for the book will post as well. This is also working with Pinterest. If the book cover doesn’t appear on your Facebook page. please let us know.

Thanks for reading. Feel free to email us with any thoughts, questions, or suggestions.
