E-commerce Scam Alert

If an order looks too good to be true or something about it just doesn't seem quite right, don't hesitate to investigate further before you ship the order. The June 8 Bookselling This Week published a great article on Fraudulent Orders and Other Deceptive Practices Making the Rounds. A bit of caution when processing transactions can save you a great deal of money.

IC Webinars Update

There will be no IndieCommerce webinar the week of June 20th as many of our members will be attending the ABC Children's Institute 2016 in Orlando. Discount Coupons - Part 2 will be scheduled for Tuesday, June 28 and Thursday, June 30.

You can register for the Webinar here.

Who Are You?

Is your contact information up to date in case we need to reach you concerning an issue with the store's IndieCommerce website. Please login to your IndieCommerce account and make sure that the best email address and phone number are listed.

Go to:
Store -> Configuration -> Store
and fill out the fields at the bottom of the 'Basic Information' page.

While you are at it, tell ABA exactly who should be getting emails and complete the email preference form.

Tips and Tricks

Each staff member at your bookstore with access to your IndieCommerce website should have their own account and have the proper "role" depending on the work they do on the website. Instructions for creating admin accounts are available in our IC Help Center.
