On July 19th there was an article in BTW and IndieCommunications regarding the upcoming change to the “From” address that appears in transactional emails such as order confirmations that are received by customers shopping at IndieCommerce stores (IndieLite stores are already using this address and will see no change). The new “From” address for all transactional emails will be and will go into affect at 7:30 AM on Tuesday August 22nd.


We need to make this change so that internet service providers don’t blacklist IndieCommerce sites as spammers. Please keep in mind that if a customer does reply to one of these emails, the address will automatically changes to a valid “Reply” address for your store.
