New IndieCommerce Webinar Series

The IndieCommerce webinar series will be returning to an Internet-connected computer near you starting September 14th, 2017. Based on feedback from the IndieCommerce webinar survey last month, here is the tentative schedule of topics and dates:

Thursday, September 28: Custom product upload

Break for one-on-one sessions at regional shows
Thursday, October 26: E-commerce and order processing

Let’s Talk Online Marketing
I am looking for 6 to 8 booksellers who are active in marketing their stores online
and want to share their successes and failures with others once or twice a month in a virtual roundtable format. We’ll test this with a video conferencing service like Zoom or GoToMeeting, so you’ll need an Internet connection, a computer with a video camera and a microphone, and headphones/earphones. Tip of the Week
When creating views for your IndieCommerce store, make sure that you set the correct permission for each view you create. You don’t want to accidently exclude people from seeing your content or reveal sensitive information.
