Ingram Fulfillment Update
A common question asked by stores using Ingram’s “Consumer Direct Fulfillment” (CDF) for their website is:

Can I cancel or edit an order after it has been sent to Ingram?

NO. Orders sent to Ingram cannot be modified and cannot be canceled from your IndieCommerce / IndieLite site. IndieCommerce staff do not have access to make these changes or cancellations for stores. Stores should handle these changes and cancellations directly with their customer. 

For pre-orders fulfilled by Ingram, stores can send cancellation requests to the IndieCommerce staff ([email protected]) and we can send it to Ingram. Please note that these requests should come at least a week before the publication date. For more information on CDF, please review the Ingram Fulfillment FAQ
 

Some Email Marketing Service Providers May Be offering Free Credits
A bookseller recently contacted IndieCommerce customer support to let us know that her store’s email marketing service provider, Mail Chimp had given her 3 months of free credit on her account. She had also heard that Constant Contact was making a similar offer to their customers. These offers don’t appear to be publicized on the websites of either company, but she encourages stores to reach out to their service providers via email or phone and ask if they are offering their customers any billing relief.
