REMINDER - CREDIT CARD FEES REINSTATED

On April 17, 2020 we had announced that due to the pandemic ABA was waiving most of IndieCommerce support fees for the 8 weeks of sales generated from April 13 - June 7.

If your store uses IndieLite or is an IndieCommerce store that uses ABA’s Authorize.Net account to process your e-commerce credit card transactions (in other words, you do not have your own credit card processor or relationship with Authorize.Net for e-commerce transactions), you were not charged the normal 4.5% royalty fee for your e-commerce sales during that 8 week period.

Starting this week the 4.5% royalty fee will be reinstated for orders completed since June/7. As always, the royalty fee is chanrged in addition to the credit card transaction fees. The reconciliation report from June/15 (for orders completed between June/7 and June/15) will indicate a commission of 0.5%, but the actual fee charged would be 4.5%. This 4.5% fee applies to all IndieLite websites and ONLY those IndieCommerce stores that use the ABA for online credit card processing.

A new fee structure for IndieCommerce and IndieLite websites will be announced later this week.
