Deadline Extended For IndieCommerce Sites Switching Credit Card Processors
The October 22nd deadline for IndieCommerce websites to move from the shared ABA credit card merchant account to their own merchant account has been extended to November 1, 2020.
All credit card orders placed on IndieCommerce websites that have not moved to their own credit card merchant account before November 2nd, 2020, will be charged a 4.5% commission fee going forward. The shared ABA merchant account will eventually be shut down. To avoid the fee increase and possible disruptions in credit card processing, you need to transition your IndieCommerce website to your own credit card processor. For more information on switching to your own processor please visit this page.
After you have registered with Authorize.net and can log into their website, you can follow the instructions on this doc for enabling your anti fraud settings. If you have questions, please contact us at [email protected]
