That "Warning" Email About Your Website
Over the past few days several IndieCommerce stores have reported to us that they have received an email from a company called "AnyforSoft" about their website. The email states:

"I want to warn you that you should start the migration of (bookstore name) website to Drupal 9 ASAP...."

The email goes on to mention that the bookstore's website needs to migrate from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 as soon as possible to avoid security threats and lagging performance.

We want to assure you that contrary to what their email is inferring, the IndieCommerce platform is completely up to date on all security releases for Drupal 7 and is not "lagging" in any way.

In regard to the migration, we are 8 months into the build of the new IndieCommerce 2.0 platform. We are currently on schedule to begin transferring stores to it beginning this summer.

We're very excited about the new IC 2.0 platform and in the coming months, we'll be offering several opportunities to preview some of the new features we'll be offering.

Thanks for reading. Feel free to email us with any thoughts, questions, or suggestions.
