We feature a wide variety of fiction, literature, poetry, and childrens books. Our space is available for special events, including book signings, readings, and lectures. Rental space is available year round for private parties. Da Book Joint is an African American book source. We have been in existence since May 2007. We started out as a brick-and-mortar but as e-books gained popularity, we moved online to maintain a presence. We have since re-opened a physical location on a smaller scale because we missed our face-to-face interactions with our customers. We host local book events and participate in various book fairs and events. We are also striving to erase the stigma poverty has on literacy by providing free books to the youth in our community.
