2015 ABC Best Books for Young Readers Catalog Cover Unveiled

The 2015 ABC Best Books for Young Readers Catalog cover will feature art from I Wish You More, written by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and illustrated by Tom Lichtenheld, published by Chronicle Books. Lichtenheld attended the Author Reception at the Children’s Institute earlier this year and signed copies of I Wish You More for booksellers.

The cover art, which was chosen by the ABC Advisory Council from publisher submissions, was announced on Thursday by the ABC Children’s Group at ABA.

This year’s catalog will feature more than 200 fully vetted titles for children and teens, recommended by ABC Group member booksellers.

Through June 30, booksellers with title recommendations are encouraged to submit them via the catalog’s online submission form or through Edelweiss. Nominations are particularly being sought for nonfiction titles across all reading group levels. Titles must be published between January and October 2015.

Recommendations and submissions for the Indie Next List will also be considered for the ABC catalog.

The 2015 catalog is scheduled to land in stores in early October. A catalog order form will be available to ABA member stores later this summer. All members of the ABC Children’s Group at ABA will automatically receive 250 catalogs with no imprinting.
